As always, we will have amazing items for our silent auction and door prizes.
RETIRED AIR FORCE LIEUTENANT COLONEL ROBERT “BOB” JEFFREY
Capt Jeffrey was forced to eject from his stricken F-4 Phantom II while flying his 1st combat mission on December 20, 1965. After spending 2,611 days in captivity, he was released during Operation Homecoming on February 12, 1973.
RETIRED NAVAL AVIATOR CAPTAIN JOHN “DOUG” BURNS
LCDR Burns had to eject from his A4 Skyhawk when he was shot down on October 4, 1966. He spent 2,343 days as a POW and was released during Operation Homecoming on March 4, 1973.
NAVY SEAL PETTY OFFICE 2ND CLASS RICHARD HETZELL
Petty Officer Hetzell was part of the recently declassified mission code named Operation Thunderhead, one of the last SEAL missions in Vietnam.
You will hear about Bob and Doug’s time spent in the infamous Hanoi Hilton. Rick will share how the last SEAL POW rescue mis- sion in Vietnam brought these three men together, something that should have happened 45 years ago!
This year our moderator will be Retired Navy SEAL Senior Chief Dave Hall. Dave, one of our guest speakers last year, was instrumental in helping us assemble our panel of speakers and is an expert in military history.
Strap in and get ready for an interesting ride. The event will conclude at 10:00 pm.
Individual ticket prices are $125 per person, and sponsorship packages are available starting at $2,000. All proceeds benefit the Silent Warrior Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity serving our military members and their children since 2010.
Special room rates are available at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch for $209 per night. Rooms are limited, so please book early.
